I am a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach (INHC) with a specialty in helping clients navigate new eating strategies and food elimination diets–a modality I refer to as Food Strategy Coaching.
I was drawn to Food Strategy Coaching after I discovered that my own food intolerances were causing recurrent illness and fatigue. For most of my life, I experienced daily stomach aches, chronic sinus infections, brain fog, and joint aches. After many medical specialists couldn’t diagnose specific illnesses to treat, I decided to try an elimination diet. Within weeks of eliminating gluten, dairy, and soy from my diet, I finally began living in a pain-free body! This new way of eating, along with targeted lifestyle changes (such as gradually increasing exercise and self-care routines), has given me the ability to live with more clarity, energy, and joyfulness.
Every person’s body is different and my passion is helping clients figure out what their individual selves need to thrive. Whether you want to try an elimination diet or more general changes to your health and lifestyle, I will help guide and support you through the practical and emotional aspects of changing lifelong habits. As your coach, I will listen to you carefully and we’ll navigate the world of contradictory nutrition and health advice together to explore what truly works for you.
I received my training and certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition®, where I studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods. I also have a Master’s in Education, I am certified by the American Association for Drugless Practitioners, and I received my yoga teacher certification through Nirvana Yoga. Drawing on these experiences and keeping your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and resources in mind, I will work with you to co-create completely personalized actions to move you toward wellness.
