Fred is a retired pediatrician with 38 years of experience. He has had extensive training and experience in hypnotherapy for children and adolescents since 1979. His hypnosis training was with The American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis, and most recently the National Pediatric Hypnosis Training Institute. He is certified by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
Fred has taught self-hypnosis to children and adolescents for a wide variety of challenges. These include habit disorders such as bed wetting, habit cough, thumb sucking and nail biting; pain issues including acute and chronic pain, e.g. migraine; tics and Tourette’s syndrome; phobias, including dental phobia; warts; and many other conditions.
Fred worked with children throughout his entire career. He takes great delight in the time he gets to spend with children, including his three grandchildren. He describes his hypnotherapy as “helping children discover inner strengths through self-hypnosis”. He would be pleased to speak to any parent with questions about hypnosis, either general questions or specific challenges that might be amenable to treatment with self-hypnosis.
Fred offers self-hypnosis for children and adolescents at CLINIC Wednesdays 12- 8pm.
