Marly Shaffer is a licensed and insured massage therapist in the state of Massachusetts, and nationally certified through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).  She graduated from the Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy in Tucson Arizona the summer of 2009.  She continues to pursue education and innovations in the massage industry in order to provide the best treatments possible for her clients.  Her primary focus is injury prevention and relief from pain, predominantly utilizing deep tissue and sports massage, and orthopedic massage techniques.  Marly believes everyone can benefit from therapeutic massage.  She enjoys applying her knowledge of human physiology and kinesiology to assist athletes, medical professionals, first responders, and manual laborers perform to their highest potential.  Her goal for the massage industry is to increase public education on the many benefits and applications of therapeutic massage.
