Covid-19 update: Emma is practicing at CLINIC on Friday mornings.
Emma graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in 2009, with a focus on Traditional Chinese Medicine, Shiatsu massage and Chinese herbal formulation. In her undergraduate work she had a concentration in American medical history and botanical medicine, and she spent many years traveling and studying herbal medicine traditions around the U.S. and beyond. She is passionate about medicine of all kinds, often melding Eastern and Western approaches in her work, offering eclectic and effective solutions for her patients. She is currently pursuing a degree in nursing to further facilitate collaboration between traditions.
Emma specializes in women’s health, fertility, anxiety and depression, but enjoys seeing patients of all ages and ailments. She has special training and experience in treating addictions and has worked extensively with recovery centers in both Western Massachusetts and Vermont.
Emma lives in Northampton and practices here and in Brattleboro, Vermont as well. In her spare time, she enjoys reading old medical texts, contemplating life, and trying not to take herself too seriously. She is the proud mother of two lovely children.
