Community vs private acupuncture: which is for you?

Community acupuncture is best if:

  • Cost and affordability is your top-most priority

  • You have received a lot of acupuncture, and know what to expect

  • You are coming to work on one or two specific issues, especially if of an acute nature or short duration

  • You are coming in mainly to relax, de-stress, and don’t need extra time to check in with your practitioner - this is your needle nap time!

  • You are coming in regularly for acupuncture for maintenance on a chronic condition, and you know that consistency helps you maintain wellness

  • You are able to relax comfortably in one of our zero-gravity recliners

Individual acupuncture is best for you if:

You are brand new to acupuncture and not sure what to expect

You are dealing with a number of chronic conditions, and utilizing acupuncture as a part of your health support “tool kit,” but may need extra time to check in with your practitioner each visit

You may have some trauma history, and/or benefit from using part of your treatment to talk about the healing process with your practitioner in a safe, supportive space

Your practitioner recommends this due to the need for added modalities such as moxibustion, cupping, or “face-down” back treatments.
