The Akashic Records: Welcome Home

In 2017 a literal life long dream of mine had come true: to see the northern lights, and for unknown reasons at the time, it always had to be in Iceland. When I was a wee kiddo with this dream I didn’t even know where Iceland was.
We arrived for an early March adventure, and if you’ve ever been to Iceland you know the weather changes like 4 times a day. We were lucky to see the great aurora borealis our very first night as the tour bus we were on chased the ever elusive dance of these beautiful cosmic colors raining down on us.
What magic it was!
This vast, otherworldly land invited us to explore and play on its amazing open lands and lava fields as we drove through small villages, stopped to see Icelandic horses, and walked on black sand shores, a glacier, and inside an old lava tube.
Before this trip was even on the horizon, I had become literally obsessed with old norse culture and mythology. I was eating it up every day, and my favorite show was Vikings on the History channel. I even had a Lagertha themed birthday party (check out Vikings to find out who she was).
When we got home from our trip, I pretty quickly kept having nausea, and because I know my body I know it was emotional, not something actually physically wrong. I went through a beautiful healing session about this nausea. Within, I saw myself on an old boat on dark waters with a backdrop of gray skies, and the boat was constantly swaying back and forth.
The boat was not well maintained, and the crew was trying to take care of it. I was sea sick and unhappy. A lot more happened through this session including healing this wound of nausea, which made me feel much better in the present.
It came back though.
About 2 months after the Iceland trip I was at dinner one night with a friend, colleague, and who became my Akashic teacher, Liz Varney. I was talking about this continued nausea and not sure what to eat, and through some chatting about it, it dawned on me that it had to somehow be connected to Iceland.
She asked if I’ve ever had an Akashic Reading, specifically to get to the root of what’s happening. I never have, so I set one up with her and here’s the gist:
I came into her office feeling nervous about what was going to come up, and Liz so warmly welcomed and assured me only the things I needed to know would come through in a gentle way. It was my very own Soul we were connecting with afterall.
She brought us through an honoring and opening of the space and the Akashic Records, and the very first thing she said to me was “You’re on a boat…”
My honest reaction was “No sh*t I’m on a boat hahah!”.
I couldn’t believe it…she was tapping into my inner experience which I learned turned out to be a past life (or other life timeline) where I was Norse traveling the cold, northern seas to explore other lands. There were a lot of details she shared about this past life, and through hearing this story my Soul has been carrying, I had a deep catharsis in our session.
The nausea literally went away like (go ahead and snap your fingers). Just….gone.
It was such an incredible experience and from there the Akashic Records and I have developed an amazing relationship. There was a reason I needed to see the northern lights in Iceland–through this work it has become clear to me I have deep ties to other lives living as Norse, and being on Iceland both triggered and solidified my Soul experiences.
This is just some of the magic of the records. If I only wrote about all the examples myself and clients have experienced and benefited from with these readings, this would be soooo long.
SO: Have you ever had a moment where you suddenly had such clarity about what to do in a certain situation? Or have had a yes/no felt sense in your physical body come through about something you were thinking through? Or just knew there was more to the story but couldn’t pinpoint what the “more” was?
Sometimes it’s hard to put words to these experiences–and one way to do that is through the Akashic Records.
There’s Akasha as a concept, idea and spiritual connection, as well as scientific Akasha because its existence has been measured (enter Ervin Laszlo). The word Akasha/Akashic is from sanskrit meaning sky, ether, unseen storage space in the sky, or essence of all things (it has many translations, really).
AND across many different belief systems, they too, talked about Akasha but instead it’s named The Book Of Life (Christianity), Vedas Scriptures (Hinduism), The Torah (Judaism), The Quran (Islam), The 5th Element (Paganism), The Celestial Hall (Druids), Collective Consciousness, Repository Of Thoth (Egyptians), Halls Of Knowledge….
So although the word, and energy of it, originates from the ancient language of India and Nepal, the CONCEPT of accessing great divine wisdom is believed and experienced by many across the world throughout human history–yet it is NOT an invention by humans. It is simply the energy field we are innately a part of and our ancestors had various ways of connecting to it.
This great wisdom lives within your very bones, in your heart and your Soul, and is part of the Akashic realm. It is everything within and around us, for we are not separate from Akasha. This energy holds the imprints of our experiences AND possibilities, just like the body holds cellular memory–the Akashic holds energetic memory– and all things are energy.
You can also think of it as Creator, God/dess, Love, Consciousness, or any other word that resonates with you.
It’s here to remind us of where we’ve come from, the great potential we hold, and the ultimate thing we forgot: we are love itself. We are greatness and wisdom and so much more than we think we are.
The Akashic Records are a welcoming home, over and over. A sweet and simple reminder through easeful, compassionate messages and clear guidance.
I have never experienced anything as clear, creative, easeful, inspiring, and all encompassing before, as I continue to do with the records.
The way they work through me is simply allowing whatever information is needed, necessary, and supportive in the moment to come through. I say all encompassing because through me (the records may work differently with each of us), all topics life, death, and spirit are on deck.
In a session a client could move between connecting with a passed loved one, asking about a career move, receiving info about their Soul contracts, explore crossroads, check in about certain signs they are receiving, what to do about finances, tap into their creativity, access past/other lives and how they are influencing them today, get clarity about relationships, ask about different locations they are thinking of moving to, or traveling to, right down the actual housing address … the list is truly extensive!
Every session is an uplift, a lesson, an ah-ha, and confirmation of what one knows to be true but may be questioning, as well as bringing things to light.
The Akashic has this gift of weaving everything together in our lives.
Imagine feeling so validated, so honored, so free, so clear, so excited, so grounded, and so back at home in big ways with yourself. Imagine that this energy and wisdom isn’t in a faraway land but right within you. It’s your very own truth and essence you are connecting to with Akashic work.
The Akashic is the space of magic and love!
Working with the Records affirms us, and relieves us from wounding.
The numerous other/past lives I’ve accessed and got to receive the Soul story of what created wounding in that life…or created strength… helps my clients heal through healing this other life.
Heck, I took an official Akashic Records training because it literally healed a wounded part of a past/other life! My mind couldn’t make sense of what was happening, and Akasha made it make sense.
I also use this work to go deeper into astrology and why our Souls choose our specific blueprints. I use it in bodywork as guidance to help bring focused work to where the body needs it. I use it in energy work–my Akashic healers as I call them– to help clear and align my clients systems.
I use this work to help affect change in people's lives, our planet's life, and reconnect us back to our roots and truths.
I connect to the Akashic, yet, it’s always within, which means you can connect in your own way, too.
